Today our volunteer Sanil Kamble conducted an awareness program about "Snakes and myths regarding snakes" at Shri Gajanan Vidyalay, Kalyan .Information on basic identification of common snakes found in that area and first aid after snakebite was given to kids. Also preventive measures were told to avoid the snake bite. Kalyan is filled with wildlife and has seen many wild guests all around , we have always tried to act as a bridge between the fear and misconceptions between the people regarding wildkinds and thus make them aware about their importance and need for a balances environment. Conservation needs to be included in the syllabus of the education system , it will really help and motivate more and more people to participate and contribute.
The future generation is the only positive hope for the betterment of wildlife and the forests of our city which is facing great threat in sustaining itself and supporting the wildlife within it. And we stick to this say - As charity begins from home - Conservation begins from surroundings .Our city our suburb inside which we live are also our homes - and it is our moral duty to take care of our surroundings and environment.
As it faces so many problems because of the mean and illegal human activities - we like minded should do some tasks by which they are affected but in a positive way.
We are looking forward for more and more support and interaction with new people and bring them closer to some facts that cannot be ignored.
