A successful first night trail done through WWA
With an amazing long trek of about 16kms to matheran on 15th July
Sighting of about 10 snakes
Including the Brahminy worm and beaked worm snake, beddomes cat snake, etc
A night filled with heavy rain gave us plenty of amphibian sightings like ramanella species, bush frogs, Indian toad, burrowing frog and many more
The participants also got to see the swamp eels that were beautiful to look at.
Various coloured insects and sleeping bird species were also seen. Regular breaks were taken so that the participants could enjoy the windy night and complete the walk.
A big group of 16 went home with a lot of memories and waiting to make new ones.
Some expected certain sightings of species which weren't successful but we learn that all cannot be sighted just through one trail.
Announcement of the next trail for the month will be out soon. Keep following for beautiful photos of various species and make memories with us, supporting us further.
