On 18 July 2017 our team was invited at Voltas Company, Gandhinagar , Thane for the conducting awareness program about snakes and myths related to it.
The program was conducted by our volunteer Rohit Mohite Manasi Nathwani Omkar Kolekar Yatin Shitole Omkara Anil Saturdekar. Our new intern from Egypt Aya Qandil was also present for program. Around 60 employees of the plant were present for this session.
The workers were given information about common snakes found in this region and how to identity them. They were also given information about snakebite first aid and dos and donts. Superstition and myths related to snakes were also explained to them.
This was followed by the question answer session and program was concluded.

P.S. No live specimens were used during this program. Using live specimen is banned under Wildlife Protection Act 1972.
