Today on 25 November our member Ravi Lohire recieved a distress call from Vikas Nagar,Dehu Road, Pune. Responding immediately to the call he with other volunteers reached the spot & rescued the INDIAN PANGOLIN.It was soon hand over to the Forest Department & released back in the wild after completing all the formalities.
According to IUCN status it is listed as the endagered species.It is endagered due to its hunting for it's meat & scales.It is found in India,Nepal,Pakistan & Sri Lanka.
