Today our helpline received a call from site supervisor about chicks at their construction site in MAJIWADA. The BIRD (KITE) had built nest on a tower crane. Problem was they had to dismantle the crane to send it to another site. One of the workers was trying to throw the kite chicks from the crane. Our volunteer Aditya Patil reached the spot. He had no other option but to remove the chicks from the nest. The chicks were admitted to the Thane SPCA & necessary paperwork was done. The chicks will be released in wild once they are able to fly.
